HTC to make a comeback in India? Preparing to launch new HTC U24 Series

HTC is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India. The Taiwanese company teased the arrival of this mystery product through a social media post on Wednesday, keeping its name and launch date under wraps.

Speculations and rumors are rife that this new smartphone could be a member of the HTC U24 series, potentially offering significant improvements over its predecessors, the HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro. This potential leap in technology has piqued the interest of many, signaling HTC’s strong comeback to the Indian market.

The teaser post by HTC Vive on X hints at the imminent launch of a new product in India. It is accompanied by the hashtag “#Allforu” and a “coming soon” tag. The image in the post features the text “Al24U,” suggesting it could be related to the HTC U24 series smartphone.

Reports indicate that the HTC U24 and HTC U24 Pro are currently in development. One of these devices, identified by the model number 2QDA100, recently appeared on platforms like Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG, hinting at specifications such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB of RAM, Android 14, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Expected to build upon the features of their predecessors, the HTC U24 and HTC U24 Pro are likely to retain features like full HD+ 120Hz OLED displays and IP67-certified build quality.

This upcoming launch is not just about a new smartphone; it’s about HTC’s triumphant return to the Indian market. After a brief hiatus, HTC is back, ready to reclaim its position in the hearts of Indian smartphone consumers. Despite the challenges faced globally, HTC’s dedicated division, Vive, for VR-related developments, stands as a testament to the brand’s resilience and commitment.
