Galaxy AI’s new AI Features

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has been launched with One UI 7, built on Android 15, bringing a new level of AI integration to enhance user experience. Samsung has reimagined its interface with AI-driven tools powered by Google’s Gemini to make everyday interactions smarter, faster, and more intuitive.

One UI 7 introduces “AI agents,” designed to simplify how users interact with their devices. These agents allow for chaining multiple commands and app interactions, enabling users to perform complex tasks effortlessly. Accessing Gemini is now easier than ever with a long press of the power button, ensuring its capabilities are always within reach. Samsung’s native apps have also been upgraded to support Gemini extensions, enhancing their functionality.

The Galaxy S25 series offers several AI-powered features. The updated photo editor includes a “Generative Edit” tool that can remove people—and their shadows—from images. The “Now Brief” feature delivers personalized daily summaries, helping users stay informed. Additionally, Samsung Gallery now supports natural language searches, making it simple to find specific images, like “a dog wearing a red coat near a cake.”

The “AI Select” tool enhances customization by proposing pertinent features based on the displayed content. For instance, it can offer to summarise, spell-check, or refine the tone of text while writing. Enhanced on-device search now supports detailed queries, allowing users to locate specific items quickly.

Voice-triggered tasks are another major addition, streamlining device interactions. Commands like “I have eye strain” can activate features such as the blue light filter, removing the need to navigate settings manually. Live Video, a standout feature, provides real-time guidance for activities like baking, offering step-by-step instructions as users roll dough or complete other tasks.

Language support has also been expanded. The AI system is now capable of translating in 20 languages for calls and in-person conversations, making the Galaxy S25 series more globally versatile.

Samsung ensures that its AI capabilities respect user privacy. The on-device “Personal Data Engine” analyses data locally, ensuring sensitive information remains secure while enabling advanced personalization.

With these AI-powered upgrades, the Galaxy S25 series pushes the boundaries of what a smartphone can do, offering users smarter tools, better integration, and a seamless experience tailored to their needs.
