Realme has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 6, in India. Priced at Rs 40,999, it is equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
The Realme GT 6 boasts a range of high-end features, including a 120Hz LTPO panel, a 5,500mAh battery, a vapor chamber cooling system, and, most importantly, a ton of AI features.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 6 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the latest chip from Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 series. The phone has up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of onboard storage.
The Realme GT 6 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an 8T LTPO panel. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and boasts 6,000 nits of peak brightness.
The Realme GT 6 has a versatile and impressive array of cameras. It includes a 50MP Sony LYT-808 OIS primary camera, a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera, and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera. We have a 32MP front camera for the front-facing camera.
The smartphone packs a 5,500mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging technology, which Realme claims will maintain over 80 percent of its capacity after 1,600 charging cycles. On the software front, the Realme GT 6 runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. Additional features include Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.
Realme GT6 launch: AI Features
Like other true flagships, the Realme GT 6 has several AI features. One is ‘AI Smart Removal,’ which draws inspiration from Google’s Magic Eraser. This feature allows users to remove unwanted objects from their photos and fill in the empty spots to match the background.
Another feature, AI Night Vision, enhances low-light photos by adding artificial brightness. Realme claims this feature can capture explicit videos comparable to phones with a 1-inch sensor. AI Smart Loop allows users to select content on the screen, drag it, and share it with third-party apps via a side wheel of apps.
Realme GT6 launch: Price and availability
The Realme GT 6 is available in two colour options: Razor Green and Fluid Silver. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs 40,999. Two more variants are available: 12GB + 256GB for Rs 42,999 and 16GB + 512GB for Rs 44,999.
Realme also offers a bank discount of Rs 4,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 1,000 on the 8GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB storage variants. The 12GB + 512GB variant has a bank discount of Rs 3,000 and the same exchange offer.
Pre-orders for the Realme GT 6 began in India at 2:30 pm on the launch day and will continue until June 24th. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Realme’s official site, Flipkart, and other mainline channels in India.
