Poco launches the M7 Pro, C75 budget 5G smartphones in India

Poco has launched two new budget-friendly smartphones in India, the M7 Pro and the C75, both equipped with 5G connectivity and impressive hardware for their price segments. Powered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14, these devices cater to users seeking affordable phones without compromising on performance and features.

Both phones promise two years of Android updates and four years of security patches, ensuring longevity for users. With competitive pricing and well-rounded features, Poco’s M7 Pro and C75 aim to dominate the budget 5G smartphone market in India, offering users more value for their money.

Poco M7 Pro: Bright display and enhanced cameras

The Poco M7 Pro is the successor to last year’s M6 Pro 5G and offers significant upgrades. It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ GOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and an industry-leading peak brightness of 2,100 nits. Powered by the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, it promises smooth performance for everyday tasks and gaming.

The phone sports a dual-tone plastic design, with a matte finish on one side and a reflective look on the other. Its dual-camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and AI Night mode for sharp, detailed low-light photography. The front camera offers a 20MP sensor, ideal for selfies and video calls.

Key features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and IP64 water resistance. The device packs a 5,110mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage (expandable via microSD), the M7 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 6GB+128GB model and Rs 15,999 for the 8GB+256GB version. It will go on sale starting December 20.

Poco C75: Affordable 5G with a big display

The Poco C75, another budget 5G option, is powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset and features a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness. Designed with a dual-tone finish, it houses a 50MP Sony sensor with an f/1.8 aperture for versatile photography.

The device offers 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage, expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. It comes with a 5,160mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging, along with connectivity features like dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The C75 is available in three colors: Enchanted Green, Aqua Blue, and Silver Stardust. Priced at Rs 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, it will go on sale starting December 19.
