Known for delivering flagship performance on a budget, OnePlus ensures that its midrange devices are just as competitive as its top-tier phones. The new successor to the Nord 5 is a variant of the OnePlus Turbo 6, which was launched in China earlier this year. The new addition to the Nord series will feature a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a massive 9,000 mAh battery.
The midranger has been handsomely equipped by OnePlus and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone has the same 165 Hz AMOLED display as seen on the OnePlus 15, along with 27 W reverse wired charging support. The phone has been certified with IP66, IP68, and IP69/69K ingress protection ratings. According to GSM Arena, the phone will be available in silver, black, and green.
Cameras
The OnePlus Nord 6 will be equipped with a revised camera setup. The main sensor will be a 50 MP Sony LYTIA sensor. Additionally, the Nord 6 will have an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. The 16 MP front sensor has now been replaced with a 32 MP unit.

The OnePlus Nord 6’s AMOLED screen will have a 165 Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits of HBM, and up to 3600 nits of peak brightness. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, coupled with an Adreno 835 GPU. OnePlus claims 64% higher performance and 25% better AI performance.
Keeping gamers in mind, the Nord 6 now features a six-axis gyroscope, a Touch Reflex chip, and support for spatial audio boost. The handset also features a G2 Wi-Fi chip and support for advanced 5G connectivity.

The OnePlus Nord 6 starts at Rs 38,999 for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant and Rs 41,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant. Available offers bring the price down to Rs 35,999 for the 8 GB variant and Rs 38,999 for the 12 GB variant. The sale will begin on April 9 at 12 PM IST.
