OnePlus revealed the Bullets Wireless 2 earphones, an update to the previous generation of its wireless earphones. It was unveiled at the OnePlus 7 series launch event with a price tag of Rs 5,990 alongside the announcement of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro.
The Bullets Wireless 2 delivers audio using two Knowles Balanced Armature drivers and one 10 mm dynamic driver, making it a total of three drivers on each earbud. It has upgraded the internal hardware of the earphones to have “soft trebles” and “low basses”.
Because of support for the company’s new fast-charging technology, Warp Charge, OnePlus claims that users can enjoy 10 hours of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging. After a full charge, the wireless earphones will last for up to 14 hours. OnePlus has packed Qualcomm’s proprietary cVc noise cancellation technology for crystal clear audio during phone calls.
Apart from the hardware, OnePlus has also given the Bullets Wireless 2 a new ergonomic design for a better snug fit in the ear canal. The magnetic pause control is continued that allows users to pause any audio playback by clipping the two magnetic earbuds together. Separating them resumes playback.
The Bullets Wireless 2 is compatible with Android, iOS, Mac and Windows. It has a dedicated button to invoke Google Assistant for the latest weather updates, news, reminders and other functions. One handy feature is the seamless and quick switching between two paired devices. Essentially, double pressing on the button will switch between the devices.
In the box, buyers will get a storage bag, three silicon eartips, one USB charging cable and the usual user guide and safety, warranty card. There isn’t any information on the availability of the Bullets Wireless 2.
