Microsoft has unveiled Dynamics 365 and AppSource for Indian customers. The products will be delivered in a Software as a Service model (SaaS) from Microsoft Data Centres located in India itself. Dynamics 365 is a suite of CRM and ERP applications that is based out of the cloud. Dynamics 365 includes analytics, intelligence and machine learning capabilities. AppSource is a SaaS marketplace for business applications, with more than 200 business oriented apps, add-ins and content packages.
“With Dynamics 365 we now bring the combined power of CRM and ERP on a secure and flexible local cloud platform,” said Peter Gartenberg, General Manager, Enterprise Business, Microsoft India. “Our retail, BFSI and manufacturing customers now don’t need to invest in expensive and time consuming deployments to start their digital transformation. Backed by decades of research and investment, we have built Dynamics 365 to deliver the most advanced analytics and machine learning intelligence capabilities to our customers in India.”
Customers only pay for what they use, and the subscription model allow for companies to scale or adapt the technology products according to needs. Dynamics 365 is expected to save organisations three to four times the cost of using traditional CRM applications. Dynamics CRM is used in India by Max Healthcare, Yes Bank, Reliance Life Insurance Company, SOTC and VLCC among others.
