Marshall, the iconic British audio brand, has unveiled India’s latest on-the-ear headphones, the Major V. Weighing approximately 186 grams, these headphones feature a durable, foldable design and 40 mm drivers to ensure a high-quality audio experience.
A key highlight of the Major V headphones is their remarkable battery life. Marshall states that these headphones can fully charge in about three hours via USB-C and offer over 100 hours of wireless playtime, surpassing the Major IV’s 80+ hours.
The Major V also introduces a customizable M-button, which can access features such as Spotify Tap, EQ switching, and voice assistants through the Marshall Bluetooth app. By default, pressing the M-script logo launches Spotify Tap, but users can adjust settings in the app to access other functions, including different EQ presets or a voice assistant.
Marshall also claims the Major V delivers an enhanced signature sound with less distortion. Additionally, these headphones are prepared for Bluetooth LE Audio technology, which aims to provide better audio quality, a more extended streaming range, and improved audio synchronization, which is particularly useful for watching videos.
Martin Wennberg, Product Manager for Marshall headphones, emphasized the advancements in the Major V, stating: “With Major IV, we set a high standard with 80+ hours of playtime, but Major V goes even further with over 100 hours. Every detail has been meticulously refined for this fifth version, from its powerful sound to its iconic design.”
The Marshall Major V headphones are priced at ₹14,999 and are available on Marshall’s online store. This launch continues Marshall’s tradition of offering high-quality sound paired with stylish and functional design, appealing to audiophiles and casual listeners.
