This is the third and the most high-end handset from the Phab2 that Lenovo showcased last year at its Tech World show. Tango is an Augmented reality computing platform made by Google which uses computer vision to enable mobile devices to detect their position relative to the world around them without using GPS or other external signals.
Tango enables a smartphone to track 3D world and project an augmented reality on the screen. For instance one can measure the dimensions of the room accurately and use shopping apps to virtually redecorate your room before buying furniture or new products for your home.
Coming back to the device, it features a 6.4-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixel) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top, a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 510 GPU. There is 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 128GB. Connectivity options include hybrid dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM Radio and microUSB port.
The smartphone has a bunch of cameras including a 16MP primary camera, a depth sensing and tracking camera and an 8MP front camera. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back, Dolby AudioCapture 5.1 with Dolby Atmos playback and a 4,050mAh battery.
