Running on iOS 26, both handsets include the new Apple Intelligence suite, bringing smart features like Live Translation, Visual Intelligence, Call Screening, and Hold Assist. However, the iPhone 17’s extra Neural Engine capacity might make it slightly more adept at handling future AI updates.

At Rs 64,900, the iPhone 17e offers nearly 90 per cent of the iPhone 17 experience for much less, the same A19 power, smart AI tools, and solid battery life, all in a design that feels premium without the flagship price. The iPhone 17, starting at Rs 82,900, offers luxuries such as a 120Hz ProMotion display, a dual-camera setup, and advanced design touches.
