Hong-Kong-based Chinese smartphone maker Infinix has launched the Infinix Hot S3 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999 and can be purchased from online retailer Flipkart starting 12 February.
The smartphone features a 5.65-inch HD+ display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4 Ghz. It comes in two variants one with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage and the second with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The high-end variant is priced at Rs 10,999 whereas the standard model comes with a price tag of Rs 8,999.
The Infinix Hot S3 is powered by a massive 4,000 mAh battery that should last a day given the power-efficient SoC inside.
Cameras include a 13 MP sensor on the rear side and a 20 MP sensor on the front with a dual LED flash for selfies.
The smartphone supports 4G, 3G, and 2G network connections and comes with dual SIM card slots. The external memory can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of an external microSD card. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s own proprietary skinning to keep things refreshed.
Connectivity options on the Infinix Hot include Bluetooth 4.2, OTG support, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor lies on the rear side of the smartphone.
The Infinix Hot S3 will be available in Sandstone Black and Brush Gold finishes when it goes on sale on 12 February.
