Gurugram-based EV startup Warivo Motors has recently expanded its portfolio by introducing the CRX, its first high-speed electric scooter. This new model marks a significant step for the company into the high-speed segment of the electric two-wheeler market.

According to Shammi Sharma, CEO of Warivo Motor, the CRX is designed to meet the needs of various types of commuters, whether they are professionals, students, or parents looking for a safe and stylish ride. The CRX aims to fulfill the promise of being a versatile and universally appealing vehicle.
Performance meets safety
The CRX boasts a top speed of 55 mph and offers two distinct riding modes: Eco and Power. These modes are designed to cater to various riding preferences and styles. The scooter’s battery life has been optimized for greater efficiency, allowing riders to make the most of each charge. Additionally, the CRX is equipped with data logging capabilities, which provide valuable insights into the scooter’s performance, aiding in maintaining optimal conditions for everyday use.
For added safety, the CRX features several advanced features. It has a waterproof, fireproof, and blast-proof battery, complemented by four temperature sensors and a robust Battery Management System (BMS). These elements work together to prevent overheating and detect potential issues early. ClimaCool technology ensures that the battery maintains its performance over extended rides. The scooter’s durability and safety have been validated by the UL 2271 standard, reflecting rigorous testing and certification.
The CRX has been designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of users, from college students to those seeking added comfort. It features a spacious 42-litre boot, the largest among electric scooters, alongside mobile charging ports (Type-C and USB) and a substantial loading capacity of 150 kg. These features are intended to enhance both practicality and comfort, ensuring that the scooter is not just a mode of transportation but a convenient and stylish choice for daily commutes.

Priced at INR 79,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), the CRX is positioned as a cost-effective option that does not compromise performance or technology. The scooter is available in five vibrant colors and features a sleek design, further enhancing its appeal.
