Google Pixel 7 Pro launched in India with 120Hz OLED Display, Tensor G2 SoC: Check Price, Specs, Availability

The Google Pixel 7 Pro was undoubtedly the main star of tonight’s event. The Pixel 7 Pro arrives as the company’s flagship offering, designed to compete with the iPhone 14 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Pixel 7 Pro was unveiled alongside the vanilla Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch.

The Pixel 7 Pro price in India starts from Rs 84,999. The Pixel 7 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Pixel 7 Pro sale in India will begin on October 13 and take place on Flipkart. Google has announced a limited-time offer, which includes a cashback of Rs 8,500 on purchasing the Pixel 7 Pro.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Specifications 

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone comes in three storage options – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The Pixel 7 Pro packs a 5,000 mAh battery capacity, similar to last year’s model, and comes with the same wired and wireless charging support as the vanilla Pixel 7.

The Pixel 7 Pro sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a pixel density of 512 PPI. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and is capable of scaling between 10Hz to 120Hz. The display boasts a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and comes with HDR support. There’s an in-display fingerprint reader and Face unlock for fast and secure access.

The Pixel 7 Pro boasts a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.85 aperture for optics. The primary camera is paired with a 12 MP ultrawide shooter with a wider 125.8-degree FoV and a 48 MP telephoto unit with OIS and 5x optical zoom. The Pixel 7 Pro also opts for a 10.8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The phone features stereo speakers and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and more. The Pixel 7 boots stock Android 13 out-of-the-box, with Google offering three years of Android updates and five years of security updates.

Regarding the build, the Pixel 7 has Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front and back. The phone’s metal chassis is also made of 100% recycled aluminum.
