Google has expanded its Pixel lineup with the introduction of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, marking its first foldable device available in India. This new foldable was unveiled at the company’s latest Made by Google hardware event alongside other models in the Pixel 9 series.
While Google had previously introduced a foldable device under the Pixel brand, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the first to debut in the Indian market.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold stands out with its unique design, featuring an expansive 8-inch inner display and a 6.3-inch cover screen, making it a versatile device for both productivity and entertainment.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold Price in India and Availability
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at Rs. 1,72,999 in India and is available in a single configuration, offering 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It comes in two color options, obsidian and porcelain, catering to different aesthetic preferences. This premium pricing reflects the advanced technology and features packed into the device, positioning it as a high-end option in the Indian smartphone market.
Starting August 22, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be available through multiple retail channels in India, including Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital outlets. Unlike previous Pixel smartphones, primarily available through Flipkart, this broader availability suggests Google’s intention to make the device accessible to a wider audience.
In addition to online and retail store availability, Google has announced that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold can also be purchased from Google-owned Walk-in centers located in Delhi and Bengaluru, with plans to open a third center in Mumbai in the near future.
