Apple has launched the iPad Air (2024) in India and global markets during its ‘Let Loose’ event. This sixth-generation model introduces a significant departure from the iPad Air lineup, offering both 11-inch and 13-inch display variants for the first time.

Despite rumors suggesting a Mini-LED screen for the larger variant, Apple was surprised by outfitting both models with Liquid Retina (LCD) screens.

Under the hood, the iPad Air (2024) boasts Apple’s powerful M2 chip, an octa-core processor featuring the Neural Engine for on-device AI tasks. Apple claims substantial performance improvements over its predecessor, with up to 15 percent better CPU performance and a 25 percent boost in GPU performance. Apple asserts that the M2 chip renders the new iPad Air 50 percent faster than the previous model’s M1 chip.
