Apple has officially pulled the wraps off the iPhone 17e, the newest and most budget-friendly addition to the iPhone 17 range. The iPhone 17e is powered by Apple’s latest A19 chip and the brand-new C1X modem, promising to deliver serious speed boosts, smarter AI experiences, and improved efficiency for everyday use.
The iPhone 17e looks every bit the premium device. But before we dive into the top specs, let’s look at the India pricing.
Apple iPhone 17e launched: India price and availability
Apple has priced the new model starting at Rs 64,900 for the 256GB variant, while the higher 512GB model is listed at Rs 84,900. Buyers can also opt for easy EMI options starting from Rs 11,327 per month.
It is interesting to note that, with certain banks’ EMI options, Apple is offering Rs 5,000 instant cashback on the cost of the iPhone 17e. Moreover, to further decrease the price, users can also opt for Apple trade-in.
Wrapped in a sleek design with a matte finish and available in three elegant shades — black, white, and a soft new pink.
Apple iPhone 17e: Top specs
Display: The iPhone 17e features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with Ceramic Shield 2, which Apple claims is three times more scratch-resistant than before and reduces glare for better outdoor visibility.
Processor: At its heart lies the A19 chip, built on Apple’s advanced 3-nanometre process. The 6-core CPU promises up to 2x faster performance than the iPhone 11. At the same time, the 4-core GPU with Neural Accelerators enables console-level gaming on the go, complete with hardware-accelerated ray tracing for lifelike lighting effects.
Battery: Apple says this helps the 17e deliver all-day battery life, complemented by USB-C fast charging (50 per cent charge in around 30 minutes), and MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W.
Camera: The iPhone 17e features a 48MP Fusion camera, which is similar to the iPhone 16e. It is also a two-in-one camera, where users can choose 48MP resolution or capture in the 24MP default for incredible image quality at a smaller file size. On the front, the iPhone 17e packs a 12MP camera lens for selfies.

Running on iOS 26, the iPhone 17e introduces a refreshed look with the Liquid Glass interface and the next generation of Apple Intelligence.
