Apple iPhone 17: Dummy leak reveals major design changes, including ultra-thin ‘air’ model

Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the iPhone 17’s release later this year. While significant changes are usually kept secret, a recent leak has revealed significant design updates.

Photos shared on X show metal dummy models, offering a glimpse of what the iPhone 17’s camera might look like.

The dummy models displayed different camera designs—one had a vertical setup with two lenses, while the others featured rectangular bars with one or three lenses.

The photos indicate that the mockups come in different sizes, suggesting that the thinner one could be the iPhone Air.

Those who dislike carrying bulky phones will appreciate this change. The iPhone Air, expected to replace the Pro model, will reportedly be ultra-thin at just 0.2 inches (5.5mm) and very lightweight.

Forbes suggests this model might feature an Action Button instead of the traditional Ring/Mute slider.

However, before you rush to check Apple’s website, TechRadar warns that this could be one of the most expensive iPhone models yet.

As expected, people had plenty to say about the possible iPhone design changes.

“There is no way a human being could like this camera design,” one person commented on X.

Another said, “Hate the camera bump.”

“I’m not sure who Apple is making iPhones for anymore,” read another comment.

If you plan to upgrade and save up for this iPhone, remember to take good care of it—especially the battery life!
